Bee products, such as honey and propolis, have been praised for their medicinal properties for centuries.

Propolis, or also called “bee glue,” is extracted by bees from resin of various plants, then chewed and mixed with constituents of pollen, various types of enzymes and ferments. Propolis is a natural, plant-based product that bees use to keep their honeycombs as well as themselves germ-free.

However, the sticky brown stuff is not only good for the bees themselves, but also for humans. Propolis contains numerous vitamins (A, B, C and E) and trace elements.
