Lactose-OK
More than 3 out of 10 people have difficulty digesting dairy products. LACTOSE-OK® improves digestion.
LACTOSE-OK® is a food supplement that contains the exogenous lactase. Lactase improves the digestion of lactose in dairy products.
How is Lactose-OK used?
LACTOSE-OK® is available in 3 forms: capsules, tablets and powder sticks. It is recommended to take LACTOSE-OK® just before a meal. The exact amount you need depends on the severity of your intolerance (some people still produce a small amount of lactase themselves) and the amount of lactose in the meal. Therefore, the dose can be increased or decreased. You may take multiple capsules, tablets or sticks at the same time, as lactase is a natural enzyme that is gradually eliminated from the body over time.
LACTOSE-OK® can also be given to infants, babies and children. For infants, it is advised to open the capsules or crush the tablets and add them to warmed bottle feeding.
For slightly older children or people who have difficulty swallowing, as well as for use on the go or when dining out, the LACTOSE-OK® FORTE INSTANT sticks are an ideal solution. The powder can be sprinkled directly onto the tongue, no water is needed to take them. The sticks can also be sprinkled directly onto lactose-containing foods.

What is lactose intolerance?
Lactose intolerance is caused by the body having difficulty breaking down lactose. As a result, some people cannot drink milk or eat milk products without experiencing discomfort. This is because no, or too little, lactase enzyme is produced by the body. The undigested lactose remains in the intestine and initiates a fermentation process.
Lactose-intolerant individuals experience discomforts such as unsteady or just-too-solid bowel movements, a heavy stomach, bloating, …
Following a lactose-free diet is a solution, but is not always the optimal one. Dairy products contain many essential vitamins and minerals.
