This Italian delicacy, literally translated as “cooked cream,” is loved for its soft texture and subtle sweetness. In this recipe, we are going to put a delicious twist on the classic panna cotta by combining it with the natural sweetness of honey and the fresh taste of strawberries.

Ingredients

For 4 persons

  • 6 g gelatin (in sheets)
  • 500 ml cream (min. 30% fat content)
  • 5 tbsp. honey
  • 70 g strawberries
  • 2 tbsp. powdered sugar

MATERIAL

  • Glasses
  • Mixing bowl
  • Steel pan
  • Beater
  • Knife and cutting board

Preparation

  1. Soak the gelatin sheets in cold water while you bring the cream and honey to a boil together.
  2. Once the cream boils, remove from heat and squeeze the gelatin sheets, add them to the cream and stir well until completely melted.
  3. Divide the mixture evenly among 4 glasses and leave to set in the fridge for at least 3 hours.
  4. Cut the strawberries into pieces and put them in a saucepan along with powdered sugar and a splash of water. Simmer briefly and then cool.
