Overnight oats with apple and cinnamon

This simple recipe requires minimal preparation and offers a delicious and great start to your day. You can make it the night before, making it perfect for those with little time in the morning. A combination of creamy oatmeal, sweet honey and crunchy apples.

Ingredients

For 2 persons

  • 60 g oatmeal
  • 100 ml almond milk (unsweetened)
  • 250 g Greek yogurt
  • 1 apple
  • 3 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • a little salt

Preparation

  1. Put most of the ingredients in a mixing bowl in following order: oatmeal, cinnamon, salt, almond milk, Greek yogurt, honey. Mix the ingredients well.
  2. Divide between 2 jars/glasses and cover each jar with foil. Place them in the fridge overnight.
  3. Remove the jars from the fridge and stir well.
  4. Is the consistency too thin or too thick? Then add some more almond milk (if the consistency is too thick) or Greek yogurt (if the consistency is too thin).
  5. Top both portions with a few diced apples.
  6. You can store these overnight oats for up to 5 days in the fridge, as long as you cover the jars tightly.
